Conservatives why are you stuck in the 20th century, we need a 21st century solution to our energy needs?

Posted by admin on August 30, 2013 in Clean Energy with 1 Comment

We need clean energy for our environment, Solar, Wind and even nuclear (if it can be provided safely).

China is pulling ahead of America in the area of Clean Energy because the Conservatives are being obstructionists and because they bow down to Exxon-Mobil, Chevron, Shell and even BP.

It is extremely important and I love how people say we don’t have the money to do it.

Look at the cost of war that American taxpayers spend: http://costofwar.com/

Just imagine if we put even a quarter of that money into clean energy, when in fact, clean energy begins paying for itself in the long run. It’s illogical not to make the switch.

Elon Musk is singlehandedly saving humanity from ourselves.

Yes. Let’s just pull the money out of our asses to pay for it.

Even the best scientists say Oil, Gas, and Coal will still be necessary in energy production. All of the above strategy is the best solution.

Why, don’t you know, because we have our own clean neat little planet to escape to (and a fleet of space liners to do it in style), once the Earth is polluted to the point of being unlivable.

Yes we should follow the mix of Chinese power production 99% coal 1% hydro

um…. you do know that there are whole rivers that will be toxic into the 22nd Century because of China’s "green" policies… don’t you?

…did you know that even the top Chinese hotels in will not serve Chinese bottled water?

…Meanwhile, please show me those "21st Century" solar-powered trucks, trains & ships that will deliver all the consumer goods you demand …

Obama and his "investments" in solar energy have all failed, and failed miserably, costing the American taxpayer hundreds of millions of dollars….FACT!!

Solar and wind are expensive and don’t meet the need. Especially if it’s Government backed.

Nuclear is the way, for now.

The 21st century solution is hydrofracking. Green energy is horsesh!t.

    Carl,

Solar and wind are irreliable. Nuclear has become a HUGE tabo for envirnmentalists.

"China is pulling ahead of America in the area of clean energy"–I laugh at you….seriously…. China is all about oil and coal

"Conservatives are being obstructionists"– or they just don’t want millions/billions wasted giving Obama donors "loans" which are never repaid and after the donors suck off the fat from the top leave the government high and dry with zero return on investment.

Because twentieth-century technology in motor vehicles will not be affordable for the vast majority of Americans for at least another 20 years, and the way this economy is limping along, probably longer than that. I say we work at making such technology affordable in the mean time while releasing more fossil fuel for consumers’ use. After all, we won’t need it in 30 years and so we don’t have to worry about it running out before then, right?

Solar takes more space than is feasible, wind is not stable and kills birds, nuclear is a nightmare. The clean and plentiful fuel of the 21st century is natural gas.

I think that China’s "advances" in clean energy are probably why we have a military presence in Australia, to protect the shipping of oil from the Middle East to China, don’t you?

Speaking of bowing down, do you know who the largest recipient of campaign cash from BP is? Barack Obama.
